I just had my nice 95 hardbutton die that way.. I am trying to figure out what part failed, but in the meantime, picked up a broken button 93 and soldered my front faceplate onto it and am working again...

Low voltage from the alternator will do the same thing. That is how I know when my alternator is going out (7 so far) because the EATC starts cycling on and off.

So you think a bad ground would cause this? I checked my alternastor it is giving proper voltage.
I will try to move the ground wire to a good place...
Any ideas where I should put the ground wire from the battery !!!!!
