So this morning I got in my car to go to work as usual, my windows were all fogged up so I turned the heat on to clear it. I then realized that while the drivers side was blowing hot air, the passenger side was blowing ice cold air no matter how I adjusted the temperature.

Does anyone know what this could be?
I've tried setting the climate to single zone and dual zone, no difference. :(

The SHO has four blend door motors. All are located behind the dash. All are accessible. Some easy to get to some hard.
I know the location of all of them but I don't know which motor does what. There are three part numbers for the four motors two are duplicates. Again that's as much as I can help you with maybe someone else with some part numbers and some locations of motors and what they exactly operate can chime in and help. Otherwise this is widely known common problem and can be found using the search funtion. I hope this helps you.

curiously, we have had instances when the blend doors would go crazy, and a engine off/on cycle would restore their brains and all would work fine again. hopefully, it will keep working right.

Sometimes these cars do strange things. I drove to the store one time, ran into the store for about 1 minute, started the car up, and the speedo was way off. At a stop it registered 60mph and when up as it should from there (as if the car thought 60mph was 0mph). At the light I turned it off and back on and it hasn't had any issues since.

I think that was a 2010 thing, SilverSH0? There was a TSB out on that, IPC reprogramming or replacement IIRC ...

It could have been as I have a 2010 but I just figured it was a one time fluke. I'll look into it, thanks.
