I recently purchased the SHO hood decal and would like to install it shortly. I read that the front decal begins to peel if you wash the hood in from front to back. Unfortunately I don't have a driveway to hand wash my SHO myself and do not trust a car wash employee not to peel off the front stripe because it is so thin.
That being said, is there any type of clear tape I can use to place over the very tip of the decal that won't show very much or ruin the paint to help keep my decal attached? Thanks in advance for the help.
