Clear taillights

Am I the only one that thinks the standard red looks the best? I agree that the clear is a tad ricey. Everytime I see a Mustang with clear or clear with red circles (and with CF), I honestly think stock looked better.

Yes red is no good!!!

IMO, the "ricey" tail coated in a red film looks much better than stock.

Yup i agree , original ones looks best.

And also the aftermaket ones (red) are nice..

The all chromed plastic ones looks like crappy-o.

update

due to the cost of the mold i didnt get the first piece today all parties interested please contact me to keep this alive. I was told that they would be able to make a mold of a defluted headlight housing also so i am going to be sending this to them now please be aware i am not scrapping this project by no means its just going to take a little longer than planned seeing that this is going to cost me more that expected they will be 150 a set if i do a gb that price ma drop but as of right now since i am obsorbing the brunt of it that is where pricing stands thanks to all that want them any quesions feel free to email me [email protected] or pm thanks again

would the defluted headlights work for a stock application or would the light suck?

it would make your regular halogens brighter and also would give you the option to run hids with out projectors

actually removing the fluting would make the stock lights dimmer due to the fact that the fluting is there to disperse the light (spread it out). this is why it's BAD got hid's becausae you don't WANT hid's to get spread out. brian, we should talk about out headlight ideas.. i'm really busy this weekend, but i'll shoot you an email mondayish

ok they did say it would b cheaper to do the headlight mold due to the size. Im not giving up on the taillights just have to get more money than planned to get going. Go ahead email me justin the place said i could use thier facilites to make everything i just have to pay for supplies and also to answer your other question the way i did my lens would make it thicker bu wouldnt hurt the output of the lights
