clear coating on interior

is there a product out there that i could use to clear coat my steering wheel? i had to get mine made black since i couldnt stand a mocha steering wheel in a black interior car.
im looking for something that will last since well its a steering wheel

depends on how bad the wheel is man, if its dealable id leave it. I dunno of anything thad stay on and not wear off fast and make it look worse in spots
