was taking apart my maf today for a cleaning while waiting on some intake gaskets from ford.. and didnt have the torx bits nor did i feel like drilling out the centre to use a regular hex..
so i removed the screen and just sprayed electric parts cleaner directly in the hole exposing the two filiments..
afterwards upon inspection i noticed the front lower filiment looks kindof fuzzy and whitish.. is it supposda? i know how fragile they are so was super careful, except for the spraying but didnt use the thin tube on the nozzle or anything.. just a quick shot or two.
didnt have any codes or anything, just playing it safe since i had a factory oiled k&n in there up till now (maybe past 30k clicks)
