I tried searching the forum but did not really find what I was looking for, but I would like to clean the intake, maybe free up some power, and I was wondering if somebody could explain the process to me, or point me in the direction of the steps on how to do this. My car has 107,000 and I'm assuming it's never been done, and is about due. Any help would be appreciated!

If your cams are welded, than it was probably done then.

Cams were pinned around 84,000 right before I bought it, so I'm not sure if it was cleaned. I'll check out v8sho.com again though. Seems like I've been there enough now I should know the site by heart.

Not much too it. Take it apart and get the solvent of your choice and some brushes to scrub. If the LIM is really coked up some paste type paint remover and a paintbrush to loosen the crud works good.

The gaskets can be reused if they aren't bent. Just spray them down heavily with some engine paint.
