Radio Shack, or any electronics supply house and many auto parts stores. You want "contact cleaner". That means it cleans electrical contacts,,not that it cleans on contact. It will remove grease, but will do little for oxidation. You need to physically scrub the contacts if oxidation is a problem. Hmmm, maybe I could borrow the wifes eyebrow brush to fit into the small holes??

SHOZ123,

Will the WD40 conduct current? Will it cause current to flow between the connectors, that is short out the connection? shrug rangerj

No, most petroleum products are non-polar which means their molecules do not have a + or - end and cannot conduct electricity. WD 40 will drive out any polar substance (water, acids, alkalies) and the solvent will clean off any grease and wash off loose corrosion. The liquid solvent in WD 40 will eventually evaporate leaving behind a barrier to water.
