cleanin the ICV

can someone give me some directin on how to go about this, my car is stalling somtimes and it has a odd idle, a friend of mine told me its the idle control vavle, he said i can just clean it or get a new one. i checked the local dealer, its $100. But i wanted to try to clean it first. I just dont know how to go about it

Take it off and spray WD 40 in it. Then work the shaft back and forth. Be careful not to rip the rubber inside.

if you still have problems go to midnight auto on ebay its an ebay store that has hundreds of sho parts and they have a icv for 15.00 of best offer, i use them all the time!

thanks i'll have to check them out. i cleaned it out with carb cleaner and i did the throttle body too, it made an improvement but not completely fixed
