Chrome color help!

I'm thinking about getting rid of the chrome trim on my car and I'm hoping to get some suggestions on what to do with it. My car is Steel Blue and outside the obvious choice of doing black trim, i'm open to suggestions. My only issue is that I've never seen another steel blue SHO with anything other than chrome (honestly it goes well, just not very sporty). Black might look good, but I'm thinking that'll mean changing the wheels to black to pull it off and I have my eyes on silver wheels. Really coyld use some help in deciding what to do. Any help is appreciated guys!

I believe the company is called truebrite, they sell black trim tape, it fits almost perfect and you can tuck the edges under the weatherstripping. I can't attest for durability as I've only had it on for a couple months, but for $5 a roll who cares.

I also wrapped my chrome grill trim with it because the plastic dip doesn't hold up for very long on the front of the car with rock chips and what not

Thanks for the tip, I think black is really the only option if I want to avoid looking to "Ricer". I had considered plasti-dip, but was concerned about the durability, so thanks for your caution on using it. Do you have any pics to share? I'm toying with the idea of getting a black mesh grill and a front splitter, so black trim might look the part.

that's with all trim blacked out. Don't have a front picture at the moment. I want to do something different with the rear ford logo tho
