Well i have been looking around and it seems like every one that i ask tell's me that the chip is not worth the money. So i have been looking for a chip for my 1996 sho. My buddy also may be in the market for a chip as well. I need to know what you guys think as far as brands and how much horsepower it brings? I have deleted my third cat and i have a cold air intake on its way as we speak.
Thanks Chris

You want to get a SCT Xcal 2. You will be quite happy with it. Also reads codes, data logs on a laptop or in real time. Holds three tunes and your original PCM code t that you can flash back to stock with.

I can email you updated tunes based on your feedback or data logs if you get one from me. :)

I purchased the SCT XCal1 about two years ago and have been happy with the mod. Improved rpm range, more positive shift points and car feels more aggressive. Using it on the road course and drag strip. :thumb:

The Xcal 2 is expensive, like 400+ with tuning.

I got a PM from SHOZ123 about a tune and am content with the price. Now I just need to put my two jobs together and save the darn money!
