Checking Transmission Fluid Level

How does one go about checkin' the tranny fluid level in an ATX? Lots of new Chevys don't have a dipstick cause the transmissions aren't supose to leak any fluid ever. My friend's mom's Malibu just needed 4 quarts of fluid. Never leaks ya say?...

I'm pretty sure you have the car idling and warm. Then go under the hood, and back by the drivers side of the intake manifold and firewall, you will see the dipstick for the transmission fluid. Pull it out and read it.
