Okay, once again, my light comes on when I accelerate hard. And as soon as I slow down and let off the throttle, it shuts off. Whole time the light is on is probably about 5 seconds. Anyone had this problem? Also, do you think my Snap-on scanner will read a code after such a short light-on, light-off situation? Help please. Thanx guys.

One more time...

Run the test
Install the jumper wire between the Self Test Input and the Signal Return terminals. Look at the light flash sequence to see what to look for after the test has run.

Check the codes

My experience says it is a tired oxygen sensor, but you would be throwing money at a problem that may not exist unless you check the EEC codes. The EEC is trying to tell you exactly what is wrong. There is absolutely no need to guess or ask for opinions.

I just ran my codes. Here they are-
KOEO- 157 Mass air flow signal too weak

KOER- 17? Coolant temp. sensor out of range
536or8? Cylinder test not responding

Any ideas? It sounded like it might be the TPS, but I guess not.

You need to run the KOER test again. Make sure you do the sequence right. Use the procedure that Scott provided: http://www.dalidesign.com/hbook/eectest.html
Then repost. I need that test to acurately diagnos this.
The most commen problem for your 157 code is an air leak buy the MAF. Check for cracks in the hoses and make sure the clamps are tight.
