Anybody heard of or know anything about Adventon Corporation (Adventon.com) They have Eibach springs for Gen I & II for $189. It seems like of enough of a difference from vendors I know to be suspicious.

I never heard of them but it looks good. The cheaper ones are around $200 so it's pretty close.

You say the cheaper ones should I be looking at better ones. I thought places like midwest sho had them for ~$260. Are those different?

An Eibach spring is an Eibach spring, some places sell them cheaper than others.

Some companies can afford to buy at big bulk and turn the savings around to their customers and some just can't. frown

that is VERY close to jobber price for those springs.... i'd be wary of that. Even an internet company needs to make a profit on things, and unless they are getting them dishonestly they are probably making < $10 a set for them.... I hope it works out though :) ... that would be a **** of a source for them if it lasts... remember the company that was selling the struts/springs for the incredible price a few months back? ... once they realized that they were going to have to actually sell them for that price they suddenly became "unavailable" .... more than likely what that means is that they advertised that price to get some attention never thinking they would actually sell performance suspension parts for a taurus.

good luck

Jobber is 5% above cost, a large company might just be trying to dump them with a small profit to atleast make out on the deal..its called getting rid of old parts

Keep in mind when you see a real good deal like that, you're bound to be hit with shipping and handling, too... so find out what the final price is going to be before you order anything.

As an example, I got my Konis from SHOnut for $580 for the set... I did find them slightly cheaper somewhere, but they were going to add shipping and SHOnut didn't, so SHOnut had the lowest final price on those.

Besides for $10-20 isn't it worth helping to keep the SHO vendors alive? If we don't support them, who will? Just my .02... =)

I agree that shipping needs to be considered, and I would much rather buy from a SHO vendor. But, this is a $60 difference in base price. Do you know any SHO vendors selling in the $200 range (new not used)? If so, let me know and I will gladly buy from them.
