changing the thermostat

Stupid question but for those of you that have done it, where is the thermostat in these and how long did it take to change....thanks in advance!!!

Be aware that, although someone posted that just a little anti-freeze comes out, I lost quite a bit after pulling off the hose. Be prepared for that--have a bucket under the car.

Really only worth it if you have a tune, to take advantage of the TStat opening early and turning the fans on earlier.

When I changed my thermostat I jacked up the drivers side of the car so when I removed the housing, not much came out ....maybe 2 cups.......Rich

Old thread but. Trying to fit this into my schedule this week. Going to order thermo monday. How long does it take to remove the stock airbox enough to get it out of the way to install this? Im working nights so time is limited.

5-10 minutes. Two bolts up front. (8mm socket), unplug IAT sensor, loosen worm clamps and remove.
