Any tips? This is the first time I've done this, and the sensor on there looks like the original.

I ordered one online from RCM, it came in a plastic bag, wrapped in newspaper, with black ink covering up what looked to be some numbers. I was expecting something in a box and new looking.

RCM is a good organization. The sensor is really easy to change. All you have to do is unplug the old one, take out the securing bolts, then take the old one out and put the new one back in its place.

Mike, there is no gapping of the cam sensor... You simply take the plastic sensor off with two 5.5mm bolts and replace. It is an extremely easy job, just a rather tight fit.

It helps to move the power steering reservoir out of the way and the cross-over tube.

Be careful about overtightening the bolts, it is easy to strip out the holes.....not that I would know anything about that, it happened to, ummm....a friend! :bonk:

Since I can't afford a new IAC right now, maybe we'll just take mine off and clean it along with my MAF. I'm looking forward to today :).
