i dont know whats wrong with my CE light but it stays on but when i got over 80mph it shuts off

It's trying to tell you something, all you have to do is ask it. There are links in my signature to two sites with simple instructions on reading the codes yourself with something as simple as a paperclip or short piece of wire. Let us know what the computer tells you is wrong.

This might also be a hint to your transmission problems.

I believe all you need is a paper clip and you can check the CEL codes yourself. If you cant give that a shot, you can always stop at a checkers, napa, autozone, pep boys, advanced autoparts or something similiar and they usually will run the codes for you at no charge!

Drive everywhere at 81. Or pull the codes and fix it your choice.
