Ok well my CE light in my 92 has been coming on lately. If it sits and idles I could idle the car for hours and the light will not come on. But after you start driving it about 5 min's after the CE light comes on and sometimes after like 30min it goes off and comes on later? I ran codes and it showed there was no problem with my car no stored codes! I'm very confused sometimes the car stumbles when it starts so it might need a CID, but SS says that shouldn't illuminate the CE light. If it did need that it would still be in error codes anyways, someone help me out here.

Did you check the codes when the light comes one? Hows the car idle? It was hit in the front right? I would look into the MAF and 02's first obviously. Then move into the ECT, ICRM and the such. Things that could have been touched (even so lightly) in the accident.

Anywho, any pics of it now thats its back together?

I checked the codes just how midwestSHO says all it did was blink once like it should and then nothing at all  The car runs great, idles just fine. I haven't driven a SHO for 2 and a half months so I forgot how they start up so is this normal. When I star it it revs up a little under 2 grand then settles back down to 800-900rpms I know the 900-900rpms idle is fine but what about the first part? Also yes it was hit in the front the hood was bend the fenders were find and the radiator support was bent, it didn't brake the airbox or nothing. Also I changed out the MAF, I put my 90's MAF on, maybe I'll try the 92's tomorrow. Also O2's can't turn on the CE light I thought? If they can how exactly would I check them?

Pics will be up soon I gotta get her washed and buffed to put some more shine on it :D I already had 2 people ask me if I wanted to sell it, nothing will make you smile like that no one ever asked me about the 90. Also thanks for responding, but anyways hows the superSHO coming along? The engine almost together is it ready to be broken in? that things going to be crazed :hail:

HAHA the revving up and then back down is called the "choke" per say, its warming up the car man! lol

The 02's will set of a CE light. I know from experience. You will know if they are bad through bad gas mileage, hesitation, and a on/off CEL light after you have been driving around for a while. I would change them anyways, they are cheap and won't hurt.

SuperSHO will be running my mid-May, with hopefully a larger HP number than the one in my sig. ;)

Of course someone asked to buy the car, its silver, its shiny, and not ugly.

Sorry about the slowness on my part, LOL. But yeah I haven't driven the 90 in a long time and the gas mileage it got was great. I been questioning how good of mpg this car gets it seems to be a gas hog and sometimes I do get hesitation. I guess thats something I'll have to check into when I get my check on friday. :thumb:

Like Chris said the O2's will definitely illuminate the CE light. You have issues if you had the CE light on and it's not throwing you any codes. Also you said you aren't even receiving the 111 (ok code) from the computer. That alone would really worry me. Start by trying to find out why your computer isn't giving you codes and work on the other things later. If you have an extra computer try switching them out.

FYI: The oxygen sensors are available from Autozone cheapest. Bosch 13942 sensors, $35.99 each.

If the computer is giving you no codes after it goes through and runs the relay tests and fan, then you definately have a bigger problem. Check into that first!

Sounds like you're not reading the codes properly. Even if there were no codes stored you should at least have seen 14 flashes (including the first high-speed flash) for all 111's. Like this: High-speed flicker flash, long pause, 1 ... 1 ... 1 long pause, 1 ... 1 ... 1 long pause, 1, long pause, and then 1 ... 1 ... 1 long pause, 1 ... 1 ... 1.

Josh,

Take the car to an Autozone and they can run the codes and give you a definitive meaning. I understand that running the codes can sometimes be a daunting task.

That said, the Oxygen sensors and the MAF will both generally not post a code until a load is present. How is the car running overall. Are there any drivability concerns?

Car runs awsome, tonight from a 35mph roll I raced a Talon TSi. He jumped me and by the begining of 3rd gear I matched his pace and the end of 3rd I passed him. :D I'll try running the codes again tomorrow I am probably messing up. I wanted to print them off but we have no printer ink so I was running back and forth from the computer monitor to the car, LOL picture that.
