I'm just about finished installing my Sony CDX - L350 CD Player in my '89 and I've run into my final problem! Currently I'm making room for the black plastic bezel that surrounds the detachable face by filing the plastic off the sides of the lower dash piece. However, once in, I can still see the top of the cd player a bit, because of a gap above and below the cd player.

This is because of the mounting equipment, but it was the best stuff availible. What's the best fix for covering up the metal so it's less visible?

The red arrow depicts the line of sight down into the opening... is there some material I can cut out to fill it up?! Help!

Haha guys!!! I need help! Thanks for the compliments anyhow! The original owner was very fussy, and now I get to benefit from it! It is quite clean for a 13 year old car
