Alright guy.... IDK if anyone has seen my thread on how to make a green display for a gen 2 player, but i did it :bonk: athoguht i think i ruined some bulbs in the process.... Jelloslug or anyone who is real into this kind of thing, is there any way to check if I runined the Bulbs, they look to be in a paralell circuit, so to check them would i have to de-solder them and check... also, what temp to i put my soldering gun at for this kind of work, i know it should be " cooler " if i even have to do it. The lights that do work LOOK SO COOL! :dribble: I want the rest of them to work too!!

I think de-soldering them is the only way to check them. Depending on how they are wired they may be like old christmas tree bulbs where if wone goes out a section will go out. I'll take a look at one I have apart at home tonight.

I saw it. I was waiting for the pics to show up :thumb:. Do you have a 2nd gen tape deck also? Finding those in green is easy.

really... the second gen tape player radio head unit thing... really... hmmm.....

well, i've bid on a broken gen 2 player on ebay... display still works so I may have to just go with that....

also... for some reason I can't get all the buttons to functon again... like the circuit board isn't close enough for the buttons to hit the contacts.... it erks me... :(
