CD changer?

has anyone put a third gen cd changer in a second gen with JBL and the stock cd player? is it possible or even worth it? i've got a chance to get one cheap....

They are not compatible. There several different older 10 disc changers that will work in the 1st and 2nd gens though. There is a universal one the works over an FM radio station, there is one that works via the slave CD loop and has a wired remote and display (I have one of those in my car) and there is one that work with a very specific premium cassette player that uses the cassette players buttons and display for the changers functions. That type is usually found in 93-96 Lincoln Mark VIIIs.
