On a mission to get below 4000lbs
You’re right, I don’t have to do it and maybe I shouldn’t. I’m just not afraid of being blunt like some are. If he wants to feign humility then in the next breath choose a more clever way of saying we don’t know what we’re talking about to be more graceful then good for him. But to do so with nothing to back him than “I’m an engineer and I know things” isn’t going to cut it for me. I’ve dealt with way too many engineers that don’t even have a grasp on basic grade school physics to accept a title as a rationale for out-of-the-blue insults from a guy I was trying to help out earlier.
So I just saw this, I'm reading it that you think I was being pretentious by saying your finding was 'Dunning-Kruger'. That's something I say to suggest looking deeper because you're making assumptions or inaccurate correlations. Assumptions like stating anyone with a BS in any type of engineering doesn't know grade school physics. Schooling aside, they have to take a state-controlled 6ish hr long test to prove their abilities and knowledge. If you looked into the topic of becoming an engineer more deeply and learned that fact, you would then know more about the process and realize you knew less and wouldn't make a blanket statement... Dunning-Kruger
As for the venting in PCV, I believe they mean to vent pressure. Like how an overfilled propane tank vents off excess or a rocket ship on the launch pad will vent off boiling liquid fuel. It's not to be taken as venting as in cleaning a contaminate from the area.
