No idea if the 17 has a factory installed separator, I asked that question last year an never got an answer form anyone. Its still on my to do list and since no one seems to have an opinion I'm going with the JLT version. Its half as much as the others an much easier to install, if you get a better answer let us all know.

I'm still not sure which one I'm going to use or when I'll get to it BUT I will keep you posted. For me ease of installing it is actually a bigger issue or as big as price.

I ordered one but not yet installed supposed to be a direct fit but have to do some cutting and shortening with the hose it was too long on both of the hoses one by 7" one by 1" and a hose is so thick that you cannot bend it. First picture shows the length of the hose how I think it should go the second picture shows the connector is right up against the high pressure fuel line. The third picture shows how they told me the hose wraps down and around but it still leans up against the high pressure fuel line

What I did today was installed up-heads display (HUD) unit. Been working on this for a week everything was built and installed today 90% complete. To break it down i formed and made a box and dome, cut a hole in the top of the dash which is pretty simple whole was already there for the Collision system which my car does not have, wired in from the OBD plug on the bottom of the dash through to the top of the dash. Let me know what you think.
