Since buying my 2015 SHO I wanted to know it's maintenance history since new. I paid $45 bucks for a one time Carfax history report.
I was pleasantly surprised that it was maintained extremely well, all the way up to my ownership. Now it didn't say that it had its water pump and timing chains done but that's okay! I have people that have my back when I need to go get those done. No issue there.
Next i did learn that it has had two other minor accidents that I would assume were just a "nudge" or bump. But regular oil changes and air filter replacements and usual checks and inspections.
That alone puts my mind at ease AND it was an original owner when they first bought it they definitely took care of it. It was a fleet car shortly after it was purchased. At one point it was in Mississippi and Texas and wasn't a Michigan car *thank god!* I wish I could share the actual Carfax report on here but have no way to get it on here. But I made a good purchase! Car has been in good hands and will continue to be now that it's mine. I guess i could call it getting lucky!
