Car was running fine put it on my lift to check out the exhaust and let it down, went to back it out car cut off spins over but ill not fire, car has spark at the plugs and fuel to the check valve, one problem I saw is that someone before me installed a fusible link on the bottom front big red wire which goes to the ccrm. I kept playing with that fusible link and finnaly quit, came back one hour later pluged the 10 amp breaker back in car fired right up cut it off cranked it again went to go for a test drive and car cut will not start back. replaced the ignition moudule car will still not crank I had an extra ccrm I know it was good because had installed it to try and get the AC working so I had two working ccrms, possibly working with that fusible link unpluging and pluging back maybe this killed both of them. I pulled the intake and ohm'd the injectors all had 13.6 so I'm guessing there is not a problem there. So yesterday I took it to the garage to try and pull the codes if there were any and the snap-on scanner said cannot connect to the pcm?
so now i'm leaning towards a computer. Replaced the computer this morning and still spins over but will not fire, I was thinking maybe something need to be reset as the car now has a new computer? I took the intake hose off and sprayed gas down the throttle body the car fires right up and runs till the gas has evaporated. The crank sensor was replaced about 2 months ago and as I said it has spark so I don't think this is bad again. Please help me I'm about to pull my hair out? OL I forget I don't have hair :nut:

Thanks for any givin

Regards,

Brad

Sounds like you are not getting fuel to me. Did you reset the fuel pump? There is an inertia switch in the trunk. Possibly you tripped it.

tried that the red button is down so i guess its not tripped, if the red button is suppose to be down. what controls the injectors firing?

have you check your fuel pressure you might have fuel at the check valve but not enough to run the car

45 psi at the rail no fuel to the injectors is the problem. whats causing it?

Now the car has no fuel pressure and the pump is not coming on, whats the deal? what does the ccrm control? does it control the fuel system injectors and pump?

is ur tach moving? the cam sensor goes frequently and is really cheap and easy to replace. it will cause intermitant starts, or no starts at all...just cranking.

check code...unless u unplugged the battary...then they are gone

Tach is moving as the car spins over.

I would pull out the front three spark plugs and disconnect the coil so you dont start a fire. Have someone crank the engine if the fuel injectors are bad then the cylinders should stay dry other wise you should be able to smell fuel if they work. ( do not do this for to long because you could clug your cats ) Like ohfosho said it could be the cam sensor which is what i thank it might be too. The cam sensor and the crank sensor tell the computer when the #1 cylinder is at TDC the cam sensor i belive is for the injectors and the crank sensor is for the spark and then when the car is running the computer just uses the crank sensor for spark and fuel. I could be wrong on what they both do.

Changed the cam sensor, and now as stated above I know the car has no fuel which means the fuel pump will be the next money going outer. If this doesn't fix the car it will be parted out!
