Every small bump just knocks the crap out. any suggestions on what it change? i think that i am going to go tokiko (sp) soon should i do strut bearings and or mounts or what. please i want a stiff ride that is smooth not beating the crap out of me on every bump..

Well the intrax don't help. Are you using alum. SFB's? Are you using SFC's? Both will add to harshness a bit. The GR2's won't hold the intrax for long and tokico's will help. If you want to soften it, maybe some new bushings are in order. Did you replace the strut mounts when you put in the springs and struts?

no i didn't replace the mounts and i don't have alum sfb or sfc. i think that everything is just starting to wear out with 160,000+ on the car..

That's alot of miles on original bushings. This stuff adds up quick. My advice from personal experience is get bushings locally in case you get an incomplete set (which happened to me twice). You will lose any discount you get from internet shopping and, more importantly, lose time in shipping both ways for returns.

Struts have oil in them, oil thickens as it gets colder. End result is stiffer struts in cold weather. When the Tokicos on my 92 turned about 4-5 years old the ride became unbearable in the winter. Of course by then they did have over 100K on them.
