Car or engine ****?

I need some help. I searchec the forum and could not find anything similiar. But whenever i'm driving, out of no where the car/or engine would ****. Almost giving me whiplash, as if it just stopped in the middle of movement and then continue. Have anyone else experience this before, what's the problem and how do you correct it?

Perhaps the CID...a.k.a. the Camshaft Position Sensor.

Run your codes (SHOTimes has a good article on it if you don't know how).
Does sound like it could be the beginnings of a dying cam sensor. Easy fix.

The CPS was replaced two months ago and don't give any codes. The dealer couldn't even get any codes.

CPS is different from the Cam sensor. When the CPS dies, so does the engine. When the cam sensor fails, the engine violently misfires (usually).

Try reading the codes yourself. See the link in my signature. All you need is a jumper wires or even a paper clip and the ignition key.

Don't be surprised if you pull a CID-related code.

Violent bucking is a common symptom of a faulty CID (cam) sensor.

I replaced both the cam sensor and the crank position sensor.

and i still experince the...****, the lack of performance at throttle(sort of sutter on accerleration) and now noticing 1 or 2 large clunk sounds that seem to be coming from under the engine whenever taking off..

Oil in the spark plug wells?

As far as the clunking....motor mounts, loose exhaust pipes....

fuel pump? i know when i'm low on gas and take a hard turn, the engine gets no gas and it's like hitting a wall.

Problem Sovled!

I finally have a great performing sho again This past weekend my Taylor plug wires came in. I installed them and the SHO is is rare form again. I'm upset that i paid the dealer $120 for a diagnostic and they couldn't tell me that.
