Yesterday i was driving to work and the car started bucking and misfiring like crazy through out the rpm range. it would do it for 10-15 seconds. the tach was bouncing all over the place. then the last time it did it the car died completely. It cranks over, has fuel, but wont start. the tach hovers around 400rpm. It only clicked a light when it died for the last time which was a 211. I am leaning towards crank sensor...
The water pump, crank sensor, cam sensor, tps, and maf have been changed about 8000 miles ago.
Any ideas where to start?

Sorry, my eyes skipped over that somehow. You're probably correct in leaning towards the crank sensor. That's a little odd that it would go bad within 8000 miles though. I'd check the crank sensor connections and the ground for the DIS before calling the sensor bad.

Is it still dead? Or have you been able to start it since?

Fixed...the crank bolt was loose. the crank is ok but the key is a little tweaked. anyone know where i can get a replacement key for it?
