That's such a bummer, because you made it sound so much less complicated than the sticky thread in the how-to. The b/f is scared that it'll be $1500 in tools just to do it. Is it really feasible? At this point, I'm starting to feel like I'm just going to have to sell it to someone who can do the clutch and buy something else. I can't afford to buy another car, can't afford to be without one, and can't afford to pay someone to replace it. I'm really not positive on what I should do with it at this point, assuming tranny oil doesn't magically fix that grinding, which at this point, I don't think it will.
