just put the knock sensor in.

take the upper timing cover off, and double-check the timing belt to make sure the valve timing is correct. your symptoms could be a misaligned timing belt system. the marks on the crank and each cam must line up at the same time, or the timing is off.

timing is most definitely correct tore it down and retimed it to make sure and still the same result

Ok. so to look at this again. What are the current codes? and what has been done so far to address this?

Ok i replaced cam and crank sensor I also put a new belt on and set the timing (twice). The only code that shows up is knock sensor not sensed during dynamic response. All plugs and injectors are good and all other sensors check out good also the converters have been removed to make sure they werent stopped up and the car will run and idle pretty but has no power and as i said knock sensor is the only code.

You have a new sensor to put in? That will effect timing advance. A tank of really bad gas can throw these sensor codes and make a car drive like garbage. This is a tough one.

on the 3.0 or 3.2 SHO, the knock sensor will only pull timing if it is "heard" and otherwise will not impact timing at all. many guys are running without a "working" knock sensor with no detriment to performance.

I have forgotten - did you confirm that fuel pressure is good?

well i do not have a test gauge to check it properly but if you depress the stem it will spray all the way to the bottom of the hood. As i said man this is the only code i am getting and i was wondering if its possible for that sensor to be no good at all because the code says knock sensor not detected. Why or what else would pul timing?

drive it for a week, and then pull the koeo (key on, engine off) codes and let us know what you find. in my experience, the stored codes are much more important to this kind of troubleshooting than the koer codes.
