Okay guys here goes, so all our Gen III's have that anti theft crap built into our cars right? Well mine is always going off for no good reason :oogle: , but mainly around this time of year (when it gets cold and/or snowy). I mean I have power locks and would like to use them but obviously cannot since that sets the alarm, I really need your help guys I am sort of sick of running outside to turn off my alarm at 3 AM! Help me get a little sleep from now on! :bonk:

Thanks guys! :salute:

The car has a hood pin and the plastic bump stop located on the hood(driver side) This little plastic thing cost about $3 or $4 bucks. Replace that and your problem will be solved.(most likely) Couple years ago mine was bad and my alarm was on & off for no reason until I found the plastic thing on the hood totally destroyed, replaced that and no problems since then. :)
