Today I stopped over at my neighbor's house because I found out he purchased a new car. Its 07 Shelby GT500. What an awesome car. He also owns a 00 Cobra R that is highly modified

Im jealous.

that cars nice but doesnt impress me I have to be honest. They coulda made it look more agressive, looks lie ka gt with some small things done to it. Course the powerplant is a little different haha. I Still thin a 330cid isnt impressive shoudal been at least a 400.

He claims the Shelby would out run a stock 00 Cobra R. The only problem the Shelby would have is overheating because of the supercharger. When I saw the car at the Milwaukee auto show I wasnt impressed. I like it alittle more now.

The Shelby may be quicker/faster, but the 00 Cobra R can turn , I would much rather turn. Sure the Shelby could be made to turn, but right out of the box, I'll take the "R".

Not gonna doubt Bruce as he can drive the @#$% out of Mustangs. Maybe the Stiffer Chasis in the Shelby helps the handling...

Either car will be fun to watch.

I read in the Motor Trend magazine that Ford is stiffening the chassis on all 07mustangs not just the Shelby. Thats how Motor Trend made it sound. But a simple grammer error can change everything.

That is what I meant. The current generation Mustang, (s197 I think is the chasis code), is supposed to be much stiffer than the sn95.
