Can missing MTX bolts be installed later?

Okay, current status... I have the MTX mated to the engine, and I am ready to continue reassembling the SHO. However, I am missing the two Engine to MTX bolts, which I somehow lost. headbang I have not yet found replacements, so I was wondering if it would be okay for me to continue with the clutch job (since there would still be four big bolts and the two oil pan to MTX bolts installed) and install the final two bolts before I would actually start or drive the SHO, when I get ahold of them. Will I be able to access the boltholes at this time to torque them down, or is this something I should just pay the price and wait another week to do any further reassembly of the SHO. I'm probably staying in Cinci this weekend if I can't work on it (no need to drive 100 miles home if I can't do anything!)

Thanks for the advice!

Personally I'd wait. Just pull a bolt out and go to your local Napa, they'll have the correct Metric bolt for you.

Which bolts are you missing? When I replaced my tranny I grabbed most of them(I grabbed all of them but I used 1 or 2 for misc. jobs)... I could send them to you if I have the ones you need...

I'm missing the ones that go from the engine to the tranny. They are brass colored (at least I think they are), 15mm, no stud. The FoMoCo part description for them is M12 x 1.75, and it matched the number, size, and pitch of threads to a bolt at Lowe's, but they did not have the case hardened bolt with the correct head on it, and I'm not playing those games. I could probably take a pic of the one I have sitting here, if that would help.

If NAPA actually would have them, then I could continue with the job this weekend... hmm... but it appears that for whatever reason they don't have the "washer headed" bolts.

half-way there, I think.
Personally I would pick up those bolts from Lowes and throw washers under them. Then find a place later that has grade 8 bolts or hit the junk yard.

Well, if I pick up the bolts from NAPA, they are rated at a 10.something, so that is definitely safe. I suppose I could then throw them on with washers, and then replace them with the correct bolts when I find them. 91taurisho, if you have them, I am interested :D

A SHO in the junkyards in Columbus? laugh_ti I could only hope for such a thing... I need to find a hard button EATC for Joy's car, and miscellaneous other parts, like the TB covers and maybe a spare intake to get coated. And the correct tail light for mine..

I've got them in my hand... They have no stud off the end and it's 15mm bolt, correct? It's 75mm long too, right(From end to end)?

If all that's correct email me at:
