Ok this would only be temporary, but i think i can take the mounts out, weld some metal in them then reinstall & call it good, what do you think?

Heres the problem I'm trying to take care of some back maintenance issues, & don't want to drop all the cash for new mounts if I never get this thing running right. So once I get it road worthy I'll invest in the new mounts.

Making the SHO motor mounts SOLID is a no, no. You must have some movement. I know the mounts are expensive, but if you drive the car aggressively, you need "reinforced mounts. I have the SHO NUT EXTREME in both of my SHO's, and I love them. They do increase NVH slightly, but not very noticible. I would rather pony up the cash for the extreme mounts, and be done with it. There not too fun to change.
