Dealer wants $60 for a sunroof switch. No frickin way. Does anyone know where else I can go to get one (besides the junkyard, none of them around here even have an SHO, and claim they don't have any Taurus' with sunroofs...helpful bunch)?

Looking through the looking glass:
and reflecting on past fixes:
I would go to another make altogether, like Honda and see what they offer for a replacement, after all they have a tool for manually opening/closing in case of power failure. /Seems the much brighter idea for both you and your SHO.
Otherwise, just get the switch off any model having sun/moonroof..they are not SHOsensitive.

Ma Ma M....
or Alice whichever you prefer..
Personally I think I may be the Queen of Clubs, hahahahaha eek! eek! eek! eek!

if u r good with electronics Radioshack sells a switch that will work. catalog number 275-709. it only costs $4.29. i used to work there and i wired it up, custom installed it and loved it on my 95 sable. i just ran wire to it and mounted it on my center console. youll need a tester, some wire, and some spade connectors to do it but its not really that hard. the hardest part is jumping the terminals on the bottom of the switch in the right order. thats where the wire and tester come into play. in fact, someone on here may even have the diagram of the switch. i got it from my local ford dealership or u can use a tester on ure old switch to test if its still any good. hope this helps.
