Cams seal change with timing belt on? Can this be acheived by removing the cam gears to change the seals behind them? I have the CID seal installed. It was the leaking one. However ...what must be done to change the two behind the cam gears. Is there a timing belt tensioner on the MTX? thanks

You have to remove the belt to remove the cam sprockets. The seals are behind the cam sprockets.

The timing belt tensioner is located at the left side of the belt, between the left cam sprocket and the crank sprocket.

It makes reassembly easier if you hand crank the engine and line up the timing marks BEFORE you remove the timing belt.

To access the 2 behind the cam sprockets, first line up the dot on the cam sprocket to the line on the rear timing cover. Do the same for the timing belt pulley. Then loosen (while the belt is on) the 3 10mm bolts holding each sprocket on. Loosen the 14mm bolt holding on the tensioner, then use an hex key to loosen the tensioner. Slide the belt off, remove the sprockets, and your good to go!
