camber plates

Are these worth installing? I am going to be replacing my struts and springs this summer, and am putting all the pieces together. Do they replace any parts so that if I buy them, I wont be buying parts that are not needed.
What are around and who is running them..I would like to cross my car so adjustablity would be a asset.Or should I just save up my coin and go with a coil over setup?

Are you going to get coilovers or just replacing the springs with stock type and height ones? New springs that increase the ride height should add some camber.

I would save up for the coil overs personally. I have the camber plates from SHO shop and I am sorry but they are junk and I wasted my money on them, they fall apart and you have to put a bunch of washers on them to fix it and then you can't adjust them anymore, just my 02 cent, but hopefully it helps.....

What about the camber kits from ProSuspension.com? Would these be able to adjust for lowered cars?

Good question..It appears that Shawn has a run of coilovers coming out..and as these appear to be the only coilovers out there for the taurus..and making my own is just to much work..I will be looking at them..but the question is ..do these work..and are they necessary for coilovers?

The camber plates are for lowered cars to correct the camber so you don't wear out the inside of the tires. They would be a good idea especially if you plan to auto-x it. I ordered some from Prosuspension.com and hopefully they will be in this week. They look like quality pieces and I have never heard any complaints from people regarding them.

jc whitney's webpage has some MOOG brand camber kits. i got them on my car. no real problems here

Unless Shawn has changed the design, his coilovers come with camber plates. I've had the for 2 years - luv'em.
