Anyone have picture or can describe what it looks like once the welds are broken?? I have the strut tower covers off, am I even looking in the right place?? Ive always wondered this.. Thanks.

That 1/16" thick steel plate that is on top of the strut tower and beneath the three strut nuts is the plate that is spot welded in three places to the body. If you drill these welds out very shallowly, you can then move the plate and allow fore-aft and side-to-side motion of the strut to adjust the caster and camber, respectively.
