Coming home from work today I decided to wind out 2nd and throw it into 3rd. Well I hit about 6500 and go to put it into 3rd and something broke. The car is now stuck in 2nd gear. Lukily I was close to home and I cruised home in 2nd. Now I got the car jacked up and looking underneth. I was able to push it out of 2nd on the tranny but the shifter is very sloppy like its just floating around. The cable ties are still holding the linkage together from the last time the cables broke. Andy ideas???
