Tomorrow will be the last day I will own a Gen 2. I'm selling my Moonlight Blue 94 MTX to some guy who has always dreamed of owning a SHO. Although I feel guilty by pawning off my SHO to him, I need the money...and I couldn't refuse his offer.

I honestly hope he has better luck with it than I did. I fixed so many things on it and it has really given me a good understanding of how these cars are affected by mileage...the engine not so much, but the body yes.

So I think this is it for me when it comes to Gen 2's. I think I'm going to go back to Gen 1's and stay there. Gen 2's although have many advantages, I just don't like the look as much as a Gen 1 and the extra weight that they come with also does not appeal to me.

The fact that a bone stock 89 could blow the doors off my bolt on 94 is what makes me want a gen 1 so bad.

I had my fun, I broke it, I fixed it, I learned plenty with it...so now I'll be getting an 89 again and I won't be going back.

Sorry for you guys who loved the blue. I know it was a gorgeous color, and I will miss that very much, but it isn't worth the hassle that came with the car....besides I need to pay off some certain people who have been very patient with me.

So here are some pics I've taken along the time I've owned my 94.

Nice lookin' SHO! I recently purchased a '94 in midnight blue as well, and beginning to learn that there is much work required in keeping the SHO going strong, mechanically and cosmetically. And I think I am just starting. Good luck with your Gen1.

89's are the best. I understand :)

It too bad for the mileage. It's a REALLY nice looking car. There's a nice looking black 91 in mulicall hill for cheap. (South Jersey, CL)

I like that second pic. bummer thats it a little blury.

At least you're staying in the SHO game. Too bad the blue one is going though. It's by far my favorite color.

It is definitely my favorite too, but 248k on the body is taking its toll on my wallet...which is ever so thin now that I'm unemployed.

I'm getting a lot of extra cash from this deal so I'll be putting that into getting my next SHO in better condition. It is already a steal as it is, great maintenance, little rust, great car overall.

SHO is sold. $2100 in pocket. Just got back.

I gave him the number of a very reputable SHO Shop in PA just in case he needs work done ;)

It still had all its clear coat when I sold it ;)

I'm going to miss the moonlight blue color, but I think I will be please when i get another 89 in my hands. Oh yes, light weight Gen 1 FTW!
