burning oil

ok i have check everything i can think off, but im burning oil badly from the pully side of the engine...and im not sure what gaskets are over there it could come from...i do know my valve guide seals are leaking already, but i dont think that would be it, but does anyone have any ideas were to start looking?...could it be the oil pan seal?

that didnt help..im looking for anything that would be leaking near the pullys, and i dont have any lifts or things to check, im just kinda looking for an answer

thank you..and i know the oil pan seal is a pain in the ass to fix..how hard is the main front seal?

I don't want to sound "inflamatory" but the above response by projectSHO89 details for you where you need to be looking.

The archives and search of this forum is by far the only way my SHO survives.

"Burning" oil means just that. It means that oil is being consumed by combustion in the cylinder and exiting the exhaust pipe. If you see oil running down the exterior of the engine and pudling on the floor then you are LEAKING oil.
