I keep geting this "burning" oil smell inisde the car.
Where's it coming from? Vents?
How do I sttop it?
It get pretty bad if Im at a stop light..and the smell has time to waff to the interior.
Probably needs to have the oil pan re-sealed. A very small amount of oil dripping on the crossover makes a very bad smell inside the car. Depending on how many miles you have, you might think about having the rod bearings changed.
Check for oil dripping from the lower timing belt cover's drain port below the crank damper onto the front catalytic converter. Drops at this location would indicate a leaking front main crankshaft oil seal ($8) or possibly leaking intake cam seals ($15 for the set of three). It's not the cost of the seals, it's the labor to install them.
Could also be your cam seals on the rear head. When mine were leaking I had an oil smell inside my car and also you could see smoke coming from my passenger tire where it was leaking down onto my y-pipe.
