I'm curious to see if anybody has attempted, or knows if it's possible to swap out bumpers between the different Gen 4 year models. I saw a really nice grill on a newer year model, but it won't fit my old '10 model. I combed the forum and saw no mention of this being done.

I believe you will need at least the bumper cover, headlights and hood. Possible fenders and more stuff underneath.

That might be more than I'm willing to swap out for just a grill. I appreciate the information, it would be nice to have that concave looking mesh grill, but oh well.

There is a mesh grill out there somewhere, not sure about concave. I'm in the same boat not real crazy about the grill but I want something nice and of good quality so its still on my list, but there are a lot of things on my list. Keep us posted on what you decide to do.

Will do. I have seen the mesh grills for my year model, but the newer ones just look so much nicer. The profile of the grills look slightly concave compared to the one on mine. I have an excellent illustration I can upload, but I'm not sure who's car it is and would hate to have someone get upset for sharing photos of their car without permission.

From my reading Mob Steel used to have one that was pretty nice and good quality but they sold the molds and no one is making that one anymore. Your right there are a few out there but not sure what kind of quality they are. I most likely will just pant/modify the stock one and try in some way to make it cool and unique. If it wasn't so hard to get it off I would have already tried to painting it.

There is a writeup on EBPF by TomC that shows you how to DIY the grille if you want to go that route.

Pretty sure I saw a post out here from bpd1151 also takes you through it step by step, it does not look all that hard but its not that easy ether. My DIY skills are very limited an I have some small things on my list that need to be done to the front, when I find a trust worthy shop I'll just get it all done at once. Also I have not figured out exactly what I want to do anyway.

It really sucks about the mobsteel one, that one was perfect. It looks like TommyZdesign got the mold and was making them but people were having issues with him delivering after payment.

This has been discussed a few times before, I went back and looked there is a member (Rob Smith) who was selling them, I'm just not ready to do the grill yet but this may be what you are looking for, keep us posted, always looking for new ideas.
