Bug in the keyless entry system?

I think I found a bug in my keyless entry system! There are actually 2 different codes that open my doors! Typically, those of us with keyless entry have a 5 digit code to unlock the doors, as do I.

Let's say my code is 13579:

- Obviously the code of 13579 opens it

- However, if I mistakenly hit the 2nd button 1st, I then start the code, it doesn't require the last digit! So assuming the code of 13579, the code of 31357 also works!!!!

Does this work for anybody else?

hmm i can just mash on my keys and i can get the doors to open

On my 93' SHO a second code can be entered so the standard code works but my wifes birthday will also open the doors, and I can change that in the even of a divorce or I just don't want her getting in the car anymore ( useless info: she refuses to drive the car cause it scares her lol) ,should all be in the manual for programming.
