I posted this in the sticky but I don't think people go in there much to post so im posting it again here.:thumb:

I have a clunk when going over bumps and around turns in my sho, well i did a year ago when it blew up, I think im going to weld mine while its out. Does anyone have any pictures of where exactly what and where to weld on the stock stuff to fix this problem? All of the links in this thread are dead, and a search didn't turn up any pics anywhere.

Do I weld on this side or the other side or both?

Maybe I'm missing something, but I'd weld where it broke at.... Otherwise, it's probably not the sub frame that's making the clunk....

from the pic's I see it looks like the ring on the front is intact on the strut rod cup. while it is out you weld on the back side-weld the cup to the subframe as best you can as there is no acess to a lot of it. The issue is the ring folded around in front rusts off & the cup becomes loose! Weld it up after you clean all that paint off around the inside cup, then repaint.

Usually one welds first and then paints. Looks like you've already painted.
