Any advice for repairing the subframe where the rear crossmember meets it on the passenger side. It has separated and I get a loud clunking noise over bumps, especially when turning. The other side is somewhat rusted also but still intact. Is there a kit or specific parts for this problem or is it best to just weld in new metal?

If it's not to bad, you can weld it.
I would recommend finding another sub frame and swap it in.

DO NOT DRIVE IT ANY MORE! If the other side brakes, the entire driveline comes out and you loose steering. If one portion is that rusted out, it's likely not repairable. You will need to find a good used subframe, preferably from a non-rust belt state....
