Broken mtx tranny case

anyone know how i can fix this?
it is broken where the shifter bolts on to the case

The boss is broken. It can happen when the motor mounts are bad and the car is driven/shifted hard. It can be very difficult to fix since the case is made out of aluminum. Best bet is to find a reputable aluminum welder.

LoL I bet you do look at your sig... I'm ******* mine... suprised I haven't needed one... really nice looking peice tho!

The transmission boss brace is actually a preventive measure so the boss won't shear off.

I have also made a custom thicker, threaded plate that will actually replace a broken boss, so the shifter rod will actually bolt directly to the plate. I just shipped one to MOUNSOUN MOTORS this week. He should have received it yesterday. Maybe he can comment on how the repair went.
