So I just bought a '94 ATX SHO, got it for a great deal and I love it. However it needs the pass rear strut mount replaced, and I started that yesterday. I managed to break the pinch bolt as seems common, so I've removed the hub or whatever you call it with the strut/coil still attached, and will take it to a machine shop to drill out the bolt. Problem is, I can't get the ABS sensor off. Is there a place to disconnect the ABS cable? Do I have to remove the sensor from the hub? It seems they get destroyed if you have to remove them, if I can't unhook the cable somewhere, could I clip it a re-solder later? Any help would be awesome, thanks!

P.S. I'm coming from a Miata, so low weight and moderate power (turbo) is the exact opposite of these cars, but so far it's a blast!

If you follow the harness down the body, it will lead to a plug. Good luck with that pinch bolt extraction, those can be quite the SOB!

Thanks guys. I followed it as far as I could, it seems to lead in towards the center of the car, then forwards above the gas tank. After that I couldn't follow it anymore. Any pictures of where I should be looking?

Remove the lower portion of your rear seat. You will see the conector.:thumb:
