Alright! I just replaced my brake pads all the way around, but my braking still feels way off. I mean, I have to pretty much push all the way down on the brake to get the car to stop. This new brake pads...nothing to brag about...but I was driving a beat up Sable with 197,000mi and the brakes on them were great, almost too tight....press too hard and you go through the front window.

Any thoughts as to why my brakes aren't working better. There are no brake lights flickering, no loss of brake fluids......

Could be the condition of your rotors -- maybe they're run-out? Could also just be in need of a bleeding.
