On my 93 ATX, I'm having a braking issue. Car stops still, however pulsating brake pedal and a loud noise is coming from the RR. The brake light is on as well but the parking brake is up. I have a feeling it's the hub going out or a frozen caliper just havent had time to diagnose.

Could be caliper or could be one of the rubber lines from the hard line to the caliper is deteriorating on the inside which is common. They swell internally and cause issues. Also I think the 93 had issues with the master cylinder. I think I may have to replace the one in my 93 as well.

Do you know if the slo stuff is the same for the brake system?

I would have to look it up and see if anything cross refs. I think most slo have drums in the rear back then. The rubber hoses for the brakes are pretty cheap and the first thing I would look at.
Master cylinder is different and is atx or mtx specific. The rear calipers should be common for disk brakes. Also not very expensive. Hopefully nothing to do with abs and just hard parts for the rear.

Feel your aluminum rim after a drive, if you have a collapsed line, the rim will be warm.

All 93 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable cars with 4-wheel disc brakes have the same brake parts if you stay within the ATX and MTX divide. Wagons have some quirks as well.

Won't be a hub going out because of a bad wheel bearing. That wouldn't cause a drag.

Damn censors......

Try this: drive the car at around 10 MPH, then put it in neutral so that it can coast to a stop. If it finally stops with a jerky (leave off the 'y'), your brakes are dragging. If not, problem with ABS.

Now jack the car up at back and try to spin each wheel with the parking brake off. That will tell you which wheel is dragging.

If so, loosen off the bleed skrew (with a 'c') and with a helper try to bleed the offending brake. If no fluid comes out, collapsed rubber hose which will need replacing. If fluid comes out, stuck caliper.
